HLT33015 Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance (Partial Completion)
A Health Services Assistant (HSA) works under the guidance and direction of health professionals to assist in the delivery of healthcare services. This can involve direct patient care and non-direct patient care.

How will the course be delivered?
Delivery methods include classroom learning, self directed learning, excursions to complement the classroom theory sessions and simulated training; learning in a purpose built health laboratory in the NCTTC.
VCE & ATAR Contribution:
Scored assessment is available for HLT33015 Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance Students wishing to receive an ATAR contribution for VCE VET Health must undertake scored assessment.
This consists of three coursework tasks, worth 66 per cent of the overall study score, and an end-of-year examination which is worth 34 per cent of the overall study score.
Structured Workplace Learning:
The VCAA mandates a minimum of 80 hours of structured workplace learning (SWL) placement over the duration of the VCE VET Health program.
Students will undertake 40 hours of SWL per year which is incorporated into the VET timetable. SWL placements will be organised for the student.
